Please click the request booking icon and fill out the form. We will contact to organize repair. But before you do have you:
System seems to be not working
Like most electronic equipment, you may need to reset your system – Just
turn the isolation switch to off near the outdoor unit, or in the meterbox turn
the AC circuit breaker to off, and leave for 20 minutes and then back on.
WiFi controllers are no different and on the side or bottom of the panel should
be a reset button. You may need to do this if you loose zones or system
freezes.
Have you had an annual service ? Please make sure you are meeting your air conditioner manufacture warranty requirements and book a service with us. Note as per term and conditions failure to maintain the system may result in warranty being declined which we don’t want.
In between services You Can Clean Your Air Conditioning Filter in 7 Easy Steps:
1. Undo the hinged Return Air Grill frame fixing. The fixing is
usually a thumb screw or a sliding clip.
2. Swing the frame open and let it hang vertically.
3. Slide out the filter
4. Vacuum the lint off the filter
5. Wash the filter in warm water
6. Let the filter completely dry out in the sun – Filter must be DRY!
Before reinstalling
7. Slide the filter back into the hinged grill, swing the grill back into
the recess and screw up the fixing screw or slide back the clip
Why Air Conditioning Filter Cleaning is Important
Filter cleaning is a task that is commonly regarded as unnecessary or
of low priority. In fact, it is one of the key steps to keeping an efficient
system and a healthy environment. Ducted air conditioning circulates
through the whole house starting in the indoor unit, blowing out
through the vents, feeding through the return air grille before
returning to the indoor unit where the cycle starts again. That’s why it
is vital to keep a clean filter because the air feeds through here and
recycles through your home. If the air flow is restricted, the system
has to work harder by using more power to try and suck the air
through. This will inadvertently increase your power bill. If the dust
and lint is blown past the filter it can potentially damage the fan coil.
The dust and lint may pass through the fan coil and circulate through
your home creating polluted air which could create health issues.
How Often Should Air Conditioner Filters Be Cleaned
Filter cleaning should be done every 3-4 months on a residential system but more if you are a heavy user or dusty environment. In a
commercial situation, it should be carried out every week. The filter light is
set to automatically remind you every six months however it is important that
it’s done regularly. Keeping a clean filter means everyone is happy and
healthy, with lower power bills and clean air to breathe and better performance.
To Operate Your Air Conditioner in the Summer
? Select “COOL” mode of operation on the thermostat (Snowflake)
? Set the thermostat temperature control to the “DESIRED
TEMPERATURE” (suggested temperature between 23°C and 26°C
? Set the fan operation on Medium to high and as the home cools reduce fan
speed.
? Set zones switches to the zone or zones to be conditioned.
The air conditioning system will now operate on COOLING and will continue
to do so until the air cools down to the temperature set by the thermostat.
When the set temperature has been reached, COOLING will stop, but the fan
will continue to circulate conditioned air. When the temperature rises above
the thermostat setting, COOLING will automatically commence and continue
until the set temperature has been reached.
To Operate Your Air Conditioner in the Winter
? Select “HEAT” mode of operation on the thermostat
? Set the thermostat temperature control to the “DESIRED
TEMPERATURE” (Suggested temperature between 20°C to 24°C
? Set fan operation on the required level usually medium – high for rapid heating
? Set zones switches to the zone or zones to be conditioned.
The air conditioning system will now operate on HEATING, and will continue
to HEAT until the air passing the thermostat rises to the temperature set by
the thermostat control. When the control temperature has been reached, both
HEATING and FAN will stop operating and will remain out of operation until
the temperature at the thermostat commences to fail. The FAN remains out of
operation to avoid circulating the that is not being heated, which may be
sensed as cool air and cause discomfort.
