Prepare your AC for Storms

Cyclone Alfred is approaching, and we want to ensure you’re prepared when it comes to your air conditioning, and for all future storms.
Power Outages & Surges – Cyclones often bring power failures and surges that can damage your systems. If you experience flickering lights or outages, switch off your air conditioning at breaker and isolator by the outdoor unit
Look at installing surge protection to your air conditioning assets – these range from $199 fitted
Flooding & Water Damage – If your air conditioning unit is in a low-lying area, take precautions to prevent water damage. Where possible place sandbags around them.
After Storm Check:
When switching your air conditioning back on check there are no Signs of water damage, Electrical faults (burning smells, sparks, or unusual noises) and any Refrigerant leaks or unusual ice buildup around the flares
If in doubt let us check it out call out fee $189 to check over system and restart.
